ARR / HCC Trail Work on the Violet Crown Trail!

There is a work morning planned for the Violet Crown Trail on Saturday 4/23/2016 at 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Meet at the 290 Trail head at 8:30 AM. We will divide into work groups for the various tasks planned (block short cuts, restore old homeless camp and armor 2nd creek crossing.) Bring work gloves, water (camelbak or water bottle) and dress for the weather. There is poison ivy throughout this area so protect yourself appropriate to your sensitivity. We will provide buckets, shovels, etc. for the tasks. This work day is in conjunction with the Hill Country Conservancy (HCC) who will be bringing other volunteers. Let's pay back some of the phenomenal effort HCC has put into creating and opening the Violet Crown Trail. Pay Dirt eligible!

If you park in the Spec's parking lot - please park on the WEST side of Spec's. Then walk about a half a block EAST of Spec's to the 290 trail head.
