ARR/BSS - Take Kid Mountain Biking Day.

The Austin Ridge Riders and The Bicycle Sports Shop, along with Explore Austin,are participating together for a Kid Trips Ride at Walnut Creek on Saturday, August 27th to promote Take a Kid Mountain Biking. We will meet at the island in front of the swimming pool at WC at 9:00 AM. ARR and BSS would like to invite everyone out to join us. ARR will have the Kids Trips trailer and access to 15 bicycles in case you don't have a trail ready bicycle. They will be on a first come first serve basis. Along with bicycles, ARR will have helmets (also limited in supply) for use while riding. The goal is to give kids an opportunity to experience themselves and their surroundings in new, positive ways through exposure to the outdoors and challenging physical activities. We try to instill an appreciation and respect for the environment, and the value of teamwork. Along the way, we work to bolster their self-confidence and self-esteem by providing praise and encouragement. Come out and Take a Kid Mountain Biking on August 27th at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. ARR Kids Trips and Bicycle Sports Shop will be out there at 9:30am to 12pm.

Bring bikes, helmets, hydration, a positive attitude, and anything else you'll need for a ride.
