Join Austin Ridge Riders at Walnut Creek Metro Park as we celebrate the future of our sport! IMBA Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day (TKMBD) is an annual event that seeks to introduce the joy of mountain biking to the next generation!
We will break into groups based on skill/age and go for a short ride. Woom Bikes will be present with free demo rides on their awesome Woom Off series bikes. There will be an MTB hopper demo, popsicles from GoodPop, a raffle for: a Woom 5 Original bike, a certificate for a Prevelo bike, as well as other prizes (kids only, must be present to win). Peddler Bike Shop will present with mechanic services!
Check in time is 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Wheels down at 9:30. Meet in the main lot by the top of Pool Flow Trail.
- Parent/guardian must accompany their child on the ride, no exceptions
- Bring your own bike
- Helmet, and water bottle or hydration pack for all riders are required, gloves are recommended
- You must sign waiver(s) online or in person for both parent and child.
