Ever bring a dehydrated meal on a trip without knowing if you liked it? You'll never have to roll the dice again after joining the Mountaineering Club of New York in sampling all the dehydrated meals that REI has to offer!
What to expect:
🥘 Tastings from brands like Mountain House, Backpacker’s Pantry, Good To-Go, and more
🔥 Hot water provided on-site (via camp stoves)
💬 Trail food hacks and discussion from seasoned hikers
$5 fee to cover meal costs paid at event. Cash and Venmo Accepted.
Note: Not all meals are vegetarian or allergy-friendly—ingredients will be posted.
