MUSICAL THEATRE & JAZZ Dance
Jazz Dance is an American dance form known for its low center of gravity, high energy, isolation, body awareness, contraction, percussive movement, and syncopation.
Class is focused on adult (and mature teens welcome) who want a jazz dance style that is safe, fun, and accessible. Class will cover jazz vocabulary, center floor warm-up, progressions (across the floor), and dance combinations that feel good for a fulfilling dance experience! Traditional jazz and musical theatre music as well as contemporary pop standards will be utilized.
