Come Celebrate being out in nature this Saturdays Move Walk

Where: J.R. Alford Greenway at 2500 Pedrick Road. This walk is an approximate round trip 4-mile walk from the entrance of Alford Greenway to the Piney Z parking lot and back. In addition, there will be options for shorter turnaround points with the Walk with a Doc group.
Added bonus – we will partner with Capital Health Plan and “Walk with a Doc”. Immediately afterward, or before our walk, Dr. Muniyappa will provide an insightful discussion on colon screening.

The J.R. Alford Greenway is a beautiful 876-acre park located at 2500 Pedrick Road in Tallahassee. It features over 17 miles of multi-use trails suitable for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and bird watching. Lafayette Heritage Trail Park connects with the J.R. Alford Greenway via a pedestrian bridge over the CSX railroad tracks. This trail offers a serene hike through woodlands, with opportunities to see wildlife such as turtles, alligators, and native birds. There are bathrooms and water at each end of the walk.
