The Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation, AFL-CIO, along with regional Labor Federations throughout Minnesota, have joined other unions and community groups in calling for everyone to participate in the Jan.23 Day of Truth and Freedom—a day without work—in other words, a General Strike.
Workers across the nation must stand in solidarity with the workers of Minnesota. We can’t allow Trump to impose a police state on Minneapolis, as a first step to imposing a dictatorship of the billionaires.
We are many, they are few. If we unite, we can not only defeat ICE, but win back what the billionaires have stolen. Organize your unions, community groups, immigration rights groups, fellow workers to rally in Newark. Organize to Strike for Our Lives! Strike For Our Freedom! Strike Fear into the Hearts of the Billionaires!
