Welcome to Movement Social! We’re a friendly, welcoming crew for anyone starting the journey to care for their body and mind — gently, at their own pace, with lots of support.

If group fitness classes felt too fast…
If hiking groups seemed way too intense…
If you’ve ever wondered if your body could “keep up”…

You’re not alone — and you’ve found your people. We’re here to figure out what it means to nourish ourselves with care and kindness. That might look like:

  • A short 1 km group walk along the Grand Canal, enjoying the water and birds,
  • A gentle stretching session in a park (when the weather permits),
  • A slow stroll on an easy trail,
  • Or just grabbing coffee or tea at a cozy café, chatting about what’s working, what’s tough, or what we’re learning as we go.

Whatever we do, it’s all about moving in a way that feels good for you. No fancy gear, no experience needed, no pressure at all. Just show up, be kind to yourself and others, and take one small step at a time. This is a judgment-free space where us beginners can connect, cheer each other on, and find joy in nurturing ourselves.
