Curious about the Japanese walking method everyone’s talking about?

This simple but surprisingly effective style of walking alternates between:

  • 3 minutes at a regular pace
  • 3 minutes at a faster pace

…repeated for 30 minutes.

Researchers in Japan (hence the name) discovered that this type of interval walking can improve cardiovascular fitness, leg strength, overall fitness levels, and lower blood pressure.

But this session isn’t about perfection, competition or athletic performance.

It’s about moving, starting where you are, building consistency and doing it together.

What to expect:

• Short introduction and chat about the method
• Short warm-up
• 30 minutes of guided interval walking
• Finish back where we started (Parc Poble Nou)
• Cool down and optional coffee afterwards

You do not need to be super fit or experienced. You can walk at your own level during the faster sections.

The focus is on:
Movement, community and progress, and with this session… a little more intensity too 🙂

Bring comfortable walking shoes, water and good energy.
