First Movie Dates Of 2023: Launch + Sci/Fi in Cinema (Avatar in 3D)

Welcome to the first movie dates of the year! We will be meeting for lunch in Docklands and head to Hoyts Cinema at Melbourne Central.

Based on general sentiments, it appears Avatar The Way Of The Water is what most people seems to be interested in.

We will be gathering at 1:00 PM at a Vietnamese cafe in Docklands. At 2:30pm we will start heading towards Hoyts at Melbourne Central.

We are aiming to catch the 3:10pm session which will be the one that is fully 3D.

Note that according to Hoyts the price for this 3D movie on a very large screen for an Adult is $33 dollars ($32 ticket + $1 glasses), for concession it would be $28.50 .

Given this will be a long 3 hour movie, expect this to finish around 6:30pm. Afterwards we may have some dinner if enough people are up for it.
