Gone with the Wind (Watch and Discuss, Summer Historical Epic movie!)

It is our tradition to watch an epic movie over summer, we shall watch Gone with the Wind! Late Spring, we watched the analyzed the dystopian masterpiece Blade Runner, we will turn the clock back so to speak to watch a historical epic movie.

• What we'll do
We will watch Gone with the Wind. 3.45 hours long with an intermission. During the intermission and after the movie we will talk about the world that was gone with the wind. We will talk about the story, the characters and the culture. Points of discussion will include the evolving nature of race relations and also romantic relationships, after all the movie is centered around the resolute Scarlett O'hara and romantic Rhet Butler.

Coke, cookies, coffee, popcorn will be provided!

• What to bring
Just yourself. Feel free to bring ur fav movie snacks, if you want to.

• Important to know
Location: Inside First Presbyterian Church, in the room LC080, at 2pm
Parking: North Lot - on Mainstreet, Oakdale cross street.

Note: Even though this event is hosted inside the church, the event is not a religious event. Everyone is welcome!
