Venez célébrer le cinéma canadien dans sa diversité et sa richesse et partager un moment convivial autour d’une belle histoire humaine. Cet événement est organisé dans le cadre de la Journée du cinéma canadien (JourCineCan), en partenariat avec REEL Canada.

Synopsis :
Aspirant écrivain, Mathyas troque sa vie montréalaise de jeune publicitaire pour celle de berger en Provence. Le chemin vers la quiétude pastorale tant désirée est toutefois jonché de durs labeurs. La visite d'Élise, une fonctionnaire ayant cavalièrement quitté son boulot, donne une nouvelle direction à la quête de Mathyas. Ensemble, ils s'engagent dans une transhumance. Traversés par les épreuves de la montagne, avec un troupeau à leur charge, ils vont se façonner une vie nouvelle.

Synopsis:
As an aspiring writer, Mathyas swaps his Montreal life as a young advertising executive for that of a shepherd in Provence. However, the road to his longed-for pastoral tranquillity is littered with hard work. A visit from Élise, a civil servant who has cavalierly quit her job, gives Mathyas' quest a new direction. Together, they embark on a transhumance. Through the trials and tribulations of the mountains, with a herd to support, they forge a new life for themselves.
