Welcome to Movie Night Out – Lighthouse Cinema, a group for film lovers who enjoy not just watching movies, but sharing thoughts and discussions afterward.
This group meets as appropriate, depending on what’s showing. We’ll be attending a mix of free screenings, special film events, and the occasional new release—all centered around the iconic Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield.
After the movie, those interested can join for a relaxed post-film chat—either at the cinema café or in a nearby pub. Whether you’re in the mood to analyze the plot, debate the characters, or just laugh about a strange twist, it’s a great way to connect with fellow movie fans in a casual and social setting.
This group is for you if:
- You enjoy cinema as an experience, not just entertainment
- You’re open to all genres and curious about indie and international films
- You like discussing movies with thoughtful, open-minded people

A temporary WhatsApp group will be created one week before the event to share final details, updates (including weather plans), and facilitate coordination.
The group will be deleted the day after the event.

There is a small organizing fee of €3 to help cover the subscription and admin costs.
