This group is for people who are looking for intelligent conversation with others who aren't afraid of or offended by thinking critically, challenging hardwired ideas, looking past the Matrix of corporate media. This group is for people who respect well-researched journalism, diverse western and non-western perspectives and those who'd like to discuss geopolitics, economy, the latest tech, sociology, philosophy, history, art, etc. This group is for people who would like to watch and discuss the lectures of Noam Chomsky, Richard Wolff, Michael Hudson, Chris Hedges, Gerald Horne, Bandy X Lee, etc. This group is for people who would like to discuss literature and participate in small group readings of authors like Plato, Milton, Shakespeare etc., as well as screenplays.
And finally, this group is also for those who'd like to watch and discuss my film analyses's.
No profanity, bullying, or arguing for its own sake. Feel free to bring a friend. These meetings will be short but sweet at locations that are easily accessible (usually, the library). Also, the meetings will be held on weekends, mostly. Thanks and look forward to seeing you.
