The Film Geeks invite you to celebrate Black History Month at the illustrious Digital Gym Cinema with Antonio Margheriti’s (And God Said to Cain) Black-exploitation western TAKE A HARD RIDE starring Jim Brown (The Dirty Dozen), Lee Van Cleef (Escape from New York), Fred Williamson (Black Caesar), Catherine Spaak (The Cat o’ Nine Tails), Jim Kelly (Enter the Dragon) and Barry Sullivan (Earthquake).

PLOT: Following the death of his employer (Dana Andrews), cowboy Pike (Jim Brown) undertakes a perilous endeavor to transport $86,000 to the widow of his boss. With hundreds of miles of desert landscape and ruthless and greedy men between him and his destination, Pike teams up with Tyree (Fred Williamson), an untrustworthy gambler, to better his odds at making it alive. As Pike and Tyree face one attack after another, no one poses more of a threat than Kiefer (Lee Van Cleef), a crafty bounty hunter. – Cinema Junkie

$5 for 3 Hours.

The $5.00 dollar parking rate is honored even when signage from ACE indicates other Special Event Pricing. Approach the attendant and let them know you are watching a film at the Digital Gym Cinema. They will honor the $5.00 fee.

Guests must park in spaces labeled “UCSD PARKING”. Do not park in spaces for Merian Residents, your car may be towed.

In the event there is no parking attendant stationed at the gate, please refer to the code in your ticketing confirmation email.
