Korean visionary writer/director Na Hong-jin (The Wailing) creates a Fantasy/Horror International collaboration with intense action for the beginning of Fall with HOPE starring Hwang Jung-min (A Bitter Sweet Life), Zo In-sung (The King), Hoyeon (Squid Game), Taylor Russell (Bones and All) Cameron Britton (Manhunt), Alicia Vikander (Ex-Machina) and Michael Fassbender (300).

- The film premiered in the main competition section at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, receiving a seven-minute ovation.
- The most expensive Korean film production of all time.
- Although the actors Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender appear in a scene together in film post-production, the in real life married couple's schedule is so busy they ACTUALLY filmed the scene with stand-ins, since they couldn't be on-set together at the same time. There's a widespread impression that Alicia and Michael first met on a dance floor many months before filming The Light Between Oceans (2016) the couple's only other film completed together.
