TRIVIA:
- Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con on 23 July 2026. He was in full Ebenezer Scrooge hair, makeup, and costume at an interactive set that promoted the movie. Depp even crashed the end of one of the panels as Scrooge to reveal the first trailer.
- Sir Ian McKellen had starred with the actors from the Harry Potter franchise: Daniel Radcliffe in David Copperfield (1999), Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast (2017), and now, Rupert Grint in this film. Also, on a related note, Johnny Depp (who plays the titular character) previously played Gellert Grindelwald in the first two films in the Fantastic Beasts series, a spin-off/prequel set in the same universe as Harry Potter.
- Rupert Grint (Bob Cratchit) appeared in the Harry Potter series with Sir Gary Oldman, who played Bob Cratchit and Jacob Marley in A Christmas Carol (2009).

PLOT: A thrilling ghost story set in Dickens' London, following one man's supernatural journey to face his past, present and future as he fights for a second chance at redemption. - IMDb
