28 Years Later

Ever since its masterful trailer dropped six months ago, I have been counting down the days to the release of 28 Years Later. This film is the third in this franchise, depicting a UK where an infectious disease has swept through its population, turning people into flesh eating zombies, causing the government and society to collapse, and forcing the remaining survivors to do all they can to stay safe. This third film follows the experience of a couple of survivors who leave their island sanctuary to venture on to the infected, quarantined, UK mainland, and features a strong cast including Ralph Fiennes and Aaron Taylor Johnson. Directed once more by Danny Boyle and innovatively shot on iPhones, this will hopefully be a return to the spirit of the lean, bleak original in the franchise, 28 Days Later.

We'll be just inside the cinema doors at Vue, waiting for 10 minutes or so before the film starts. There should be a handful of us, but otherwise look for the very tall guy - me!
