Paris Texas (Wim Wenders) + Talk

Recently restored and shining more brilliantly than ever, Wim Wenders’ iconic 1984 Cannes winner – exquisitely photographed by Dutch master Robby Müller – is a powerful statement on self-discovery, loss and redemption.
Showing as part of our Philosophy & Film strand, Paris, Texas will be followed by a short talk from Prof. Christopher Bennett (University of Sheffield), exploring some of the philosophical themes raised.

I am fInally able to schedule an event! Not been impressed with the standard of new movies.... Anyway this is an old favourite of mine. Great news if acting, cinematography and directing are your bag. I have my ticket, be nice to have some company but I am a definite.

Move is 2hrs 28mins. I guess there will be ads and trailers first but that is not a definite. And a 20 min talk afterwards? So you'll have to work out the end time for yourself...pub afterwards a definite.
