*Note: Date/Time subject to change due to availability. We'll update ASAP if anything changes and share the exact location closer to the event.
Directed by Martin Brest (Scent of A Woman) and starring Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, and Claire Forlani. This underrated gem is so delightfully awkward and heartwrenching with beautiful moments, cinematography, and music. It's the type of movie that reminds you to appreciate life more and focus on who/what truly matters. 90s cinema was on another level.
This is a slow-burn (3 hrs.), so bring your snacks and maybe some tissues! 🥲

• Synopsis:
Meet Joe Black is a loose adaptation of Death Takes A Holiday (1934). Businessman and devoted family man, William "Bill" Parrish (Anthony Hopkins), is about to celebrate his 65th birthday. However, before reaching that milestone, he is visited by Death (Brad Pitt), who has taken human form as a young man named Joe Black. Joe and Bill make a deal: Bill will be given a few extra days of life, while Joe will spend that time getting to experience what it's like to be a human. It seems like a perfect arrangement... until Joe falls in love with Bill's daughter, Susan (Claire Forlani). This film is a slow-burn philosophical drama about life, love, and letting go.
See you there! ☺️
