Little Miami 3.7 miles -Narrows Reserve to Washington Mills Road

Let's get on the water after work for a short evening paddle on the beautiful Little Miami River.

THE PADDLE
We will paddle 3.7 miles from The Narrows Reserve Canoe Launch to take out at the Mill Launch near Washington Mills Road bridge.

We will meet at The Narrows Reserve near Beavercreek, Ohio and prepare our boats for launch. The latest you may arrive and begin unloading is 6 PM. If you are running late, please call. I will provide my cell number once RSVP's close.

• Start
We will push off from the shoreline at 6:30 PM. Please be early and have your boat unloaded and ready to paddle. For those that can, arrive by 5:30 PM so that we may begin the shuttle process as soon as possible.

• Finish
We should be out of the water NLT 8:30 PM
Take out location: Mill Bridge Launch 2754 Graf Mill Rd, Bellbrook, OH 45305

• Duration
Expect to spend about 2 + or - hours on the water

• Pace
We will take a leisurely paddle giving plenty of time for camera opportunities

• Distance
This paddle is 3.7 miles + or -

• Difficulty
This paddle is suitable for paddlers with moving water experience. You must be 18 years of age or older and sign the liability waiver. Its not a hard paddle, however their are obstacles to maneuver.

• What You See
Old railroad bridges, beautiful forests, wildlife, more

• Restrooms
None

• Food
Bring water and snacks. We may have dinner locally after the paddle for those interested.

•-Equipment
A boat that tracks well would be ideal, but not necessary. You will be required to wear a PFD so bring it, put it on, and be happy we care about you.

• What to Bring
PFD (required) and all your summer-weather stuff...sun hat / water / sun screen / bug spray, lights, dry clothes, dry shoes, and safety equipment. Food and water. Bring a towel as to respect the vehicle owner in which you share a shuttle.

• What to leave home

• No pets on this paddle. Please leave fido and the other critters at home. This is for the safety and enjoyment of the attendees.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a wild creek and as such, there may be strainers, and obstacles that may require portage.

• Narrows Reserve Canoe Launch - GCPD, .1 mile downstream from Indian Ripple Road bridge, access river right. Camping with permit .75 miles from launch.
• Mill Bridge Launch - GCPD. Access river right just before Washington Mill Road bridge (RMM 69.3)

Your yes RSVP and by attending this event acknowledges that you have read and agree to my accident waiver and release of liability. With this in mind, please remember that I am not your guide. I am a fellow paddler that is offering notice of a group of friends that are gathering to share in ride-share to enable a fun day on the water for all. I love you guys, but I love my family more.

CANCELLATION
This paddle will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather or unsuitable river conditions.

GUESTS
No guests on the sign up. Just ask your friends to sign up on Meet Up and RSVP to the paddle. In this, we ensure everyone has accepted the liability waiver. this protects everyone on the event.eg
