This is a free event proudly supported by Mindful Peace Adacemy— a nonprofit dedicated to sharing the wisdom of Buddhist Dharma and Chan (Zen)-inspired living in a modern world.
🌿 Whether you’re exploring mindfulness, curious about Buddhist wisdom or looking for a calm space to reflect, this session offers gentle guidance and practical insight for everyday life.

On Saturdays in April, we will explore The Practice of the Metta Sutta — a timeless teaching on cultivating loving-kindness. Through this text, we’ll reflect on how to develop a gentle, open heart toward ourselves and others, and bring more warmth and compassion into everyday life.

🧘 Session Flow

  • A short guided body scan meditation to help us arrive and settle
  • Group reading (we read aloud in turns — optional participation)
  • A few minutes of silent reflection
  • Open sharing and discussion of insights, thoughts, and experiences.

Each person’s sharing helps deepen and broaden our understanding. You’re always welcome to simply listen and observe — no pressure to speak.
