About us
Welcome to The Mpowerd Single Moms Meetup!
Mpowerd’s mission is to encourage, educate and equip single moms to build strong futures for themselves and their families.
This group is dedicated to connecting single moms who want to grow themselves and positive relationships with other single moms. We are creating a village - a safe space for social interaction, support, self-empowerment, and some fun.
We will curate events that include social outings, workshops/classes, virtual connects that celebrate who you are and all you do while encouraging wellness in all areas - emotional/spiritual, financial, physical, relationship, and vocational.
Join us to build a strong support network, share experiences, and inspire each other to thrive. Being the best version of you benefits everyone. Consider this self-care.
We also invite you to join Mpowerd for to access our private Facebook group, discounted/free access to Mpowerd-sponsored events and other perks. Visit our site for more info.

Creative Journaling led by Julia Davis
Family Life Restoration Center Banquet Hall, 6328 Mableton Pkwy, Mableton, GA, USAfter being stuck inside during the state of emergency, we could all use a free dinner, great fellowship, and real conversation about resilience. But this night is only for single moms! Get Registered
Join us for our next MOMmoves session featuring journaling as a mental wellness tool—a simple but powerful practice that helps us slow down, process life, and strengthen our resilience.
We're talking resilience with Lesleigh Sanders of Cobb Collaborative and then Julia Davis, owner of The Book Worm Bookstore, will lead us in a creative session on journaling as a means of managing stress.
Why journaling matters for mental health:
- Helps regulate emotions and reduce stress
- Creates space to release what we’re carrying
- Brings clarity to our thoughts and decisions
- Builds self-awareness and emotional resilience
- Supports healing by giving our feelings a safe place to land
