FINALLY!! A SOCIAL....

Join us for an awesome night at the Hollywood Cemetery after our community meeting (Ani's home from 3-5 pm) on June 29th.

5:30: leave Ani's home (15 minutes drive to the cemetery)

We should all be setteled in by 6 pm for the picnic

7:00 pm: movie starts

Every year starting in May and ending in August, the cemetery screens classic old school horror films and psychological thrillers. The setting is like a drive-in movie theatre without the cars. When you walk into the cemetery, you wind through the gravestones along a moderately lit path. Soon, you arrive at the center of the cemetery where there is a lawn. People are there situated on their blankets, enjoying picnics, music, and conversation under the stars. As the sun sets the air gets a little chilly but it’s nothing a coat and a few blankets can’t handle :-)

Saturday, June 29th, they will be screening a 1973 classic movie called Badlands. General tickets are $12 and sell out far in advance so get your tickets now! We will be ordering food and making it a picnic, so please bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and any drinks you prefer.
