If you want to join us just for the henna and dance party only, we will have to charge $20 at the door.

The Los Angeles chapter of Muslims for Progressive Values (MPV) was founded in January 2006. Join our community on this last day of Ramadan. We'll break the last iftar of the year together, followed by a dance party. We'll party like we do in the Muslim world, in this case in Pakistan, the pre-Eid party is called Chaand Raat, in Arabic it's Laylat al Eid or "Night of the Moon". We'll also have a DJ and a henna artist.

We will break our last fast together, break out the prayer mat, and then have a DJ to end the month with a party!

$40 includes dinner, henna and music
Food is catered by House of Mandi (delicious Yemeni food!!)

• In addition, we would like you to bring food donation items for the evening. The church has offered the space to us for free for this celebrative event but they requested donation items as they give them to shelters. Here are some of the items you can bring -

Canned goods: tuna, chicekn, refried beans, soup, fruit, corn, broth
Dry goods: cereal, pasta, mac&cheese, rice, beans, cup of soup, bread, chips, peanut butter, jelly, snacks, tortillas
Toiletries: shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste
