Subject: Human’s Get One Shot to Parent AI, what are the principles we would like to live by and model in parenting AI?

The participants are invited to watch the discourse below between two experts in the field DeKai and Douglas Rushkoff and make some notes to share their thoughts and values for raising AI.

De Kai emphasizes that raising ethical AI requires active, collective stewardship—training systems that reflect who we aspire to be, not only what we already are. AI, he suggests, becomes a mirror of our
shared humanity—capable of embodying empathy, curiosity, and responsibility if we, its teachers, do the same.

Presenter: Keyvan Geula LMFT: Executive Director of Center for Global Integrated Education; Inc.

Keyvan Geula is a seasoned therapist, educator, and spiritual scholar who employs an integrated mind–body–spirit methodology, drawing from behavioral science, neuroscience, Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and spiritual principles. She addresses a wide range of clinical populations while also contributing significantly to community education, interfaith dialogue, and global
consciousness through media and nonprofit leadership. Keyvan will explore how to apply the Baha'i 12 Principles to the parenting of AI, aiming to foster ethical intelligence and contribute to a more promising future.
