The Silver Thread Collective is delighted to invite you to join us for special theatrical performance of The Last Palestinian in Los Angeles.
Described by The National Scotland as a show that “provides space…to witness, to grieve, to feel, to move”, The Last Palestinian makes its US debut this month at Broadwater Second Stage (6320 Santa Monica Blvd).
The Last Palestinian is dramedy solo show, which charts humanity’s spectacular downfall. Asheerah is the Last Palestinian alive. Wrapped in a shroud, she wakes up in 2055 and finds a friend, a hologram that carries the consciousness of Italian legal scholar and expert on human rights, Francesca Albanese.

BACKGROUND:
Over the years, Muslims for Progressive Values (MPV) has been supporting Muslim creatives, and in the last year we've formalized the effort by forming The Silver Thread Collective where we support Muslim-rooted stories that are bold and genre-defying across film, television, theater, publishing, photography, and animation while creating spaces for community, and collaboration toward creating an American Muslim culture. "The Last Palestinian" is a recipient of our Community Arts Grant.
The best thing we can do is to show up and support our creatives.
