Beginner hikes always work on something different; distance, speed or terrain. Tonight's hike will focus on speed since the distance is short.

Consistency is key to improving your hiking abilities. I recommend 2x/wk. Very shortly you will see a big difference in what you can do.

**Start:** Rosetta Mc Claim Gardens parking lot (free)
**End:** Where we started
**Distance:** Approx 6km
**Terrain:** Mix of paved pathways, gravel and sand
**Elevation Gain:** 82m
**Difficulty:** Easy
**Pace:** Aiming for 5km/hr
**What to bring:** water, snacks, proper hiking shoes with a deep tread and ankle support.
