Organizations are sitting on vast amounts of unstructured data (documents, reports, logs, and text-based records) that are governed, stored, and secured, yet largely untapped to traditional analytics. While these sources contain critical business context, it remains a key challenge for data professionals to extract actionable insights from them due to costly and manual processes.

This session shows how Azure Databricks addresses this gap by leveraging Agent Bricks as a transformation layer between unstructured data and analytics. Starting with unstructured data managed within Unity Catalog, we will provide a walkthrough on how the agent converts these data into structured tables that integrate seamlessly with existing workflows. We then dive into the nuts-and-bolts of configuring, improving and utilizing Agent Bricks within a data pipeline.

By the end of the session, attendees will have a practical understanding of how to unlock business value from unstructured data into analytics-ready assets on Azure Databricks. Enabling faster insights, improved scalability, and reduced operational overhead.
