La télémétrie chez Tilt

Comment savoir ce qui se passe réellement dans votre application une fois qu'elle est en production ? Dans cette présentation, nous partagerons notre approche de la télémétrie et du monitoring pour nos applications .NET chez Tilt. Nous verrons comment nous utilisons les événements App Insights, la télémétrie structurée, le KQL et les alertes pour détecter les incidents, investiguer les problèmes et mieux comprendre le comportement de nos systèmes dans le monde réel. Nous aborderons également la façon dont l'IA s'intègre à notre processus de monitoring et nous aide à repérer ce que les alertes traditionnelles peuvent manquer.

Ce meet-up sera animé en français par Tyler Green et Kevin Mudiandambo, de la compagnie Tilt.

Kevin Mudiandambo est ingénieur logiciel senior chez Tilt Finance, où il travaille au sein de l'équipe Credit Card Payments sur les services backend .NET dédiés aux paiements. En dehors du travail, il développe des jeux indépendants, est un joueur passionné et regarde et pratique le football aussi souvent que possible.

Tyler Green est ingénieur logiciel senior chez Tilt, où il travaille au sein de l'équipe Credit Card Growth à la création d'applications et de services .NET. Originaire de Montréal, il a étudié l'informatique à l'Université McGill et vit aujourd'hui à Chicago. En dehors du travail, il aime développer des jeux et jouer de la guitare.

Telemetry at Tilt

How do you know what’s really happening in your application once it reaches production? In this talk, we’ll share how we approach telemetry and monitoring for our .NET applications at Tilt. We’ll cover how we use App Insights events, structured telemetry, KQL, and alerting to detect issues, investigate problems, and better understand how our systems behave in the real world. We’ll also look at how AI is becoming part of our monitoring process and helping us catch things traditional alerts can miss.

Kevin Mudiandambo is a Senior Software Engineer at Tilt Finance, where he works on the Credit Card Payments team supporting the .NET backend services for payments. Outside of work, he also develops indie games, is an avid gamer, and watches and plays soccer as much as possible.

Tyler's bio:
Tyler Green is a Senior Software Engineer at Tilt, where he works on the Credit Card Growth team building .NET applications and services. Originally from Montreal, he studied Computer Science at McGill University and now lives in Chicago. Outside of work, he enjoys developing games and playing guitar.
