Topic: Integrating Azure Machine Learning with Excel to Build Predictive Models

In this session, Ashraf Ghonaim is going to show us how we can use Azure Machine Learning Studio to build and evaluate predictive models and consume in Excel to predict the future.

Ashraf Ghonaim is a Strategic Management and Analytics Consultant at the City of Toronto. He holds a Computer Engineering degree and an MBA degree in Strategic Management with special emphasis on IT-Business Strategic Alignment using Balanced Scorecard. He is also a certified Balanced Scorecard Professional™ from the co-creators Drs. Kaplan and Norton, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Ashraf is one of the very early adopters of the MS Power BI platform. He is one of the leaders of the Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps and Flow) user group community in Toronto. Ashraf is also a co-author of the first MVP Power BI Book and the first Microsoft AI MVP Book.

Ashraf is actively participating in several Open Data and Data for Public Good datathons and hackathons as a participant, mentor and judge. He is also a frequent speaker in the professional meetup groups and analytics, AI and data science events. He got his Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award in the data platform for the second year in a row (2018-2020) in recognition of his contributions to the data and analytics community. He one of the 12 professional MVPs who got this award in the data platform in Canada.
