Track 2 (Morning Session) - PowerShell Toolmaking with Jason Yoder

This workshop is for those who want to create professional level PowerShell tools and modules. We will start out learning the details of how the PowerShell pipeline really works. Next, we will look at the coding techniques needed to create cmdlets that accept pipeline information. Finally, we will discover the correct way to format our output and integrate all of this into a module. This is ahands-on experience so bring your laptop. Code examples will be provided

Track 2 (Evening Session) - DSC Configuration with Jason Yoder

DSC is a powerful tool that many have yet to touch. Many do not know where to start. In this workshop, we will start at the beginning and go through the elements of a DSC configuration. We will look at how to read the online documentation and create a configuration. To make things interesting, we will each have a virtual network where we will not only deploy a DSC configuration but watch it correct a configuration drift. This is a hands-on experience so bring your laptop.
