A Day Hike to Mt. Takao

🌿 Hi everyone!
Here’s a quick guide about the meeting point, what to bring, and a few notes for our Mt. Takao hike on September 20.

📍 Meeting point
Let’s meet at 12:00 in front of Takaosanguchi Station. I’ll be waiting by the small tree shown in the photo!

🍱 Lunch
We’ll get some free time and eat lunch at the summit. There’s a restaurant at the top, but it often gets crowded, so I recommend bringing your own lunch! There’s also a 7-Eleven right by the station if you want to grab something beforehand!

🐝 Bugs
There are quite a lot of insects, so if you don’t like them, insect repellent is useful. Long-sleeved shirts and long pants are also recommended.

💧 Water
Buying water on the way up can be a bit pricey, so to bring your own is a good idea!

⛰ About the hike
Mt. Takao is considered an easy hike, but since it’s still hot, it can actually feel tougher than expected. Please keep that in mind!”

🛁 Hot spring after the hike
If you’d like to refresh before heading home, Keio Takaosan Onsen Gokurakuyu is right at the base of the mountain. The entrance fee is 1,300 yen. A bath towel set costs an additional 350 yen. Shampoo and body soap are provided. Don’t forget to bring a change of clothes!

🌿みなさん、こんにちは！
9月20日の高尾山ハイキングに向けて、集合場所や持ち物、当日の注意点を簡単にご案内します！

📍集合場所
12時に高尾山口駅の駅前に集合です。写真にある小さな木の前でお待ちしてます！

🍱ランチについて
山頂でお昼ご飯を食べます！山頂にはレストランもありますが、混雑しやすいのでお弁当持参がおすすめです。駅前にはセブンイレブンもあるので、そちらで食べ物を買うこともできます！

🐝虫対策
虫が多いので、虫が苦手な方は、虫よけスプレーや長袖Tシャツ・長ズボンを用意すると安心です。

💧水分補給
山の途中で買うと少し割高なので、お水は持参するのをおすすめします。

⛰登山について
高尾山は比較的登りやすい山ですが、特に今の時期は暑いため、意外とハード感じることもあります。その点ご注意ください！

🛁温泉情報
下山後に汗を流したい方は、京王高尾山温泉 極楽湯という温泉があります！入館料は1,300円。バスタオルセットは別途350円です。シャンプーやボディソープは備え付けがあります。利用される方は着替えを持ってくるのを忘れないようにしてください！
