A morning spent in meditative space on Mt. Tam

This is where we look to the rocks, grasses, trees and birds to support deepening into a concentrated state of being.

We meet on the mountain at Rock Springs parking lot at 8 and will hike for about twenty minutes to arrive at the place of our morning abiding, a secluded meadow conducive to meditation. We all start by sitting for 50 minutes together, after which people are free to keep sitting or to flow between sitting, standing and walking meditation for the next 2 hours.

At the end of this 3 hour period we have lunch at 11:30 and talk if people wish, but keeping our topics to discussion about meditation or things of the moment such as the forest around us.
