Sunset Hike to West Peak from Pantoll at 5PM

5 miles/ 1100 ft elevation gain
Join Docent Franklin Young to watch the sunset from West Peak at 6:14PM. Please note that we’ll leave Pantoll promptly at 5PM. We’ll start our return in twilight and then go down the rebuilt Easy Grade trail in darkness. Moderate pace.

Trails: Pantoll to Old Mine to Mountaintop to West Peak to Mountaintop to Easy Grade to Pantoll

Meeting place: Pantoll by the Friends of Mt. Tam trailer

Parking: Please park in the Pantoll lot. There is a $8 fee. Exact change or QR code. Nearby parking spaces are closed after dark.

Mandatory: Headlights/flashlights
