When: Saturday April 25th @ 9:00 AM
Duration: Approx. 1 hour (or until our legs or schedules give out)
Meeting Point: Big Finn Hill Park – By the playground area (plenty of parking for the minivans and rigs!)

### The Plan

We’re kicking things off where it all begins! We’ll meet up at the Big Finn playground, do a quick round of "which kid kept you up last night," and then pedal our way across the road into the beautiful St. Edward State Park.

### The Ride & Terrain

Expect a mix of classic Pacific Northwest forest vibes. We’ll be hitting mostly shared-use trails (watch out for hikers), some rocks and plenty of roots to keep us honest. Since I’m a fellow newbie, we aren’t looking to break any land speed records or send any massive gaps. This is a "No Drop" ride, meaning nobody gets left behind to be eaten by squirrels. We’ll keep a casual pace, chat while we ride, and enjoy the greenery.

### What to Bring

  • Protection Gear: Helmets are non-negotiable! If you have knee/elbow pads, wear ‘em—no judgment here.
  • Hydration: Bring plenty of water. Parenting is dehydrating; mountain biking even more so.
  • Fix-it Kit: Recommended to bring a spare tube, CO2/pump, or a plug kit. If you get a flat, we’ll all stand around and offer "helpful" advice while we figure it out together.
  • The Bike: A mountain bike in decent working order (brakes are a big plus).

### The "Stay Safe" Disclaimer

Listen, we’re all adults with responsibilities (and tiny humans waiting for us at home). Ride at your own risk and within your own skill level. I am not a professional guide, and I’m definitely not responsible for any bumps, bruises, or accidental tree-hugging.
If a feature looks scary, walk it! There is zero shame in the hike-a-bike game. This is a low-pressure group focused on getting home in one piece.
