Tricky Terrain Cube Draft in Arlington (Free!)

James will be busy with his soon-to-be-born child this month, so this week, we'll be drafting my Tricky Terrain Cube! This cube is all about lands and land synergies, from Deserts to Domain to Colorless! The event will take place at my apartment, which is a quick minute walk away from the Clarendon Metro Station, easily accessible via the Orange and Silver metro lines!

The Tricky Terrain Cube is a cube based around "drafting lands" archetypes in retail limited environments, each making up a "terrain" of the Tricky Terrain Cube. The terrains of the Tricky Terrain Cube are as follows:

• Snow: Take advantage of the wintry landscapes of Kaldheim, Magic's Viking plane! Make sure not to freeze to death!
• Deserts: The deserts of Amonkhet and Thunder Junction spread wide and far, but their harshness can be to your benefit!
• Wastes/Colorless: The monstrous Eldrazi of Zendikar have blighted the lands and drained them of their color. Fear them!
• Domain: The Coalition is made up of the diverse peoples of the plane of Dominaria, united against a common cause. Get bonuses for using all five basic land types in your deck!
• Modal Spell Lands: Lands with spells on the backside?! Play the land untapped for 3 life, or cast the spell from the backside. Modality is king!
