_More information on the talks?

  • *** First talk - Breaking the Network: Mastering Attack Strategies and Countermeasures by Yannik Hollmann (Executive Consultant, Penetration testing @CGI Deutschland)***

This talk provides a comprehensive look at real-world cyber attack scenarios encountered during network security assessments, based on the expertise of seasoned penetration testers and red teamers. Yannik will guide you through the entire attack lifecycle, from initial compromise to data exfiltration.

From phishing attacks, highlighting social engineering tactics and the importance of employee awareness we will explores common vulnerabilities, such as misconfigurations and outdated infrastructure, that hackers exploit to gain entry. You will learn about privilege escalation techniques used by attackers to expand their reach and bypass security measures. Finally, the presentation covers data exfiltration methods and insider threats, offering actionable strategies to help organizations strengthen their defenses against these evolving threats.

@About Yannik: Specializes in red teaming and penetration testing, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities in infrastructure, web applications, and workstations. His work includes bypassing security measures such as Bitlocker encryption and antivirus software, compromising Active Directory environments, and conducting phishing assessments using OSINT and evasion techniques.

  • ***Second talk - Raam - Resilience as a Mindset by Csaba Sári (Head of Operations and Principal Architect @ Emnos Analytics GmbH)***

In this session, we’ll dive into Resilience as a Mindset from a cyber and information security perspective. True resilience isn’t just about firewalls, backups, or compliance—it’s about preparing systems (and humans) to anticipate, absorb, and adapt to both expected and unexpected threats. From automated defense layers to human-centric incident response, we’ll explore how mindset shapes security posture, response efficiency, and ultimately, organizational trust.

@About Csaba: A network engineer by training - graduated in Toronto with a major in security - and a lifelong infrastructure guy by heart. Over the past 25 years, Csaba worked across industries where stability and uptime are non-negotiable: banking, insurance, even the gaming world, where milliseconds matter. His focus has always been on automation - not just for efficiency, but to build systems that adapt, recover, and scale under pressure. And while technology evolves fast, he learned that true resilience - the kind that lasts - is less about tools and more about mindset.
