Abstract:
The talk will cover best-practices and utilities for building fast and maintainable web-services in C++ with a low memory footprint. These will be based on learnings from building and improving a high-performance C++ web-service for real-time bidding (RTB), which can handle more than 100k auctions per second. Concepts and implementation blueprints will be given in detail to enable participants building systems with similar requirements. In particular, this will involve libraries like: protobuf, rapidjson, yajl, httpp, libuv and libraries the speaker published in this context.
