For this meeting we will have a talk about node.js and MongoDB by Johannes May at Searchmetrics.

Benchmarking node.js and MongoDB - a reality check

Node.js and MongoDB seem to be an ideal team at first glance.
But how does the combination perform in practice? After a short introduction to node.js, the way to connect node.js and MongoDB will be explained. Then the results of a number of benchmarks will be presented. Some benchmarks will also be shown as a live demo.

The talk should take 45 minutes. Afterwards there will be time and drinks for questions and discussions.
