FREE EVENT INFORMATION
This festival photoshoot is being hosted during the 3rd Annual Freedom Festival hosted by Mujeres Valley Campground and the Indigenous Cannabis Council in western New Mexico.
This event is open to photographers, models, makeup artists, wardrobe designers, and hair stylists to meetup and put together some beautiful images on a trade for (TF) basis. You'll have free access to 10 acres of thick forested reclaimed Indigenous land during our festival. You can setup your shoot with the crowd and hand-built stage in the background with live performers rotating or you can dip off into a more private part of the campground to create your masterpieces!
There is no cost for this meetup, however, the following requirements do apply:
- Any party that chooses to participate would also have to agree to a trade for images taken during the festival and submit those emails to info@mujeresvalley.com no later than 2 weeks after this event. Images do not need to be edited and can be raw images.
- Attendees must submit their name, email address and phone number to register for this event. If your name is not on the guest list by April 29th, 2024 you may not attend this event.
- Attendees agree to exit the venue by/before 5pm or purchase a ticket to remain at the festival.
- Attendees will need to agree to a non-disclosure upon arrival
- Attendees will be required to show identification for entry
- Attendees will need to sign a photo release consent form to allow festival coordinators to use images taken during the festival from the attendee and use images of the attendee during the festival for Behind the Scenes promotion.
FESTIVAL INFORMATION
There will be live performances, food trucks, vendors, a live art show, and plant medicine nature lovers all around. Our festivals are geared toward creating safe spaces for expression through music, art, community, networking and collaboration.
Paired with the raw beauty of nature, a live performance stage, 2 new art installments in our new amphitheater and local collaborations we're excited to announce, this festival will be the biggest thing happening for the Cinco de Mayo holiday!
VENUE INFORMATION
Mujeres Valley Fairgrounds is the only campground and event center in western New Mexico focused on creating safe spaces, especially for Black, Indigenous, People of Color and their allies on 60+ acres of reclaimed Indigenous land.
The last few years we've welcomed hundreds of people onto 20 acres of reclaimed land for the first time in over 100 years, literally making history! We gathered in safe community around all levels of outdoor experienced plant medicine lovers and this year we're looking forward to welcoming even more of you to our slice of heaven!
