The multi cloud era is getting bigger and bigger, and more interesting. VMWare, the leading server virtualisation platform across the globe joins forces with the public cloud platforms - AWS, Azure & GCP. Major companies have realised there are huge benefits to adopt this integration, to allow seamless and risk free migrations from on-premise to the public cloud.

In this session, we invite VMware Cloud Solution Specialists Matty Courtney & Kev Gorman to go through the value proposition of running workload on VMware Cloud on AWS, the market opportunity and why this is seamless for current VMWare customers today. We will also discuss VMWare’s mission on Containerisation & Kubernetes. Together we will leave with knowledge on how VMWare will be a missive player in the multicloud arena and how companies can drive successful adoption.

About Presenters:
Matty Courtney: Matty is a VMware Cloud Solution Specialist at VMware. Matty works as part of a dynamic and specialized team that is responsible for engaging with clients to understand their business challenges and IT priorities in an effort to design customized VMware Cloud solutions that meets their needs. Outside of his day job Matty’s interests include tinkering with code and automation, with a goal to #AutomateAllTheThings!

Kev Gorman: Kev is Solutions Architect within VMware’s Incubation Team, tasked with helping to bring new and emerging technology (such as ESXi on ARM) to market. Kev is also a member of VMware’s Office of CTO, Global Field. This group includes VMware’s top field thought leaders and sought-after strategic advisors for senior IT leaders across the globe. Ongoing collaboration between the team and VMware R&D ensures that product roadmaps, messaging and field enablement are fully aligned with the current and future needs of VMware’s customers.
