McCartney Taylor will be our guest speaker for the April meetup. He is a data scientist and engineer and those that know him know he is one of the brightest folks you will meet.

He has been working on forecasting the Coronavirus for weeks now and has some insightful information you will definitely want to hear.

McCartney is also a student of the stock market, has been investing for years, and predicted last year that the market was nearing a shift. With the Coronavirus spread and it being an election year we are definitely seeing volatility there.

Since we are in the real estate community, we have all seen how elections can affect the market. Will the virus also cause an affect?

We will be covering all the bases of the Big 3 influencers of 2020 at this meeting!

As always, this discussion will be open to the floor so we can all share our opinions on what we can expect in 2020, how we are planning to invest, and what we can do to protect those investments.

A little more information on McCartney; he is now a top level forecaster in the Good Judgement Open (public), and the Hybrid Forecasting Challenge (IARPA aka intelligence community, winning 3rd place out of 450 in HFC, and ranking in the top 2% on GJO. He has experience forecasting epidemics in Chile, Argentina, China, and other countries. He has been forecasting on CoVid-19 for weeks now and has some insights on the pandemic and the economy. McCartney’s day job is in the oil field market, his company offers geospatial data solutions focused on data mining aka knowledge discovery.
