Hello fellow international families in Hamburg!
We're a multicultural family (Chinese mom, German dad) with a 5-month-old baby, and we speak English at home. And honestly, it's been pretty tough finding other English-speaking international families to connect with in the city.
Who we're looking for:
- Multicultural (or English-speaking) families with children of any age
- Parents comfortable communicating in English
- Families interested in hanging out
Why join us: As new parents, we'd love to meet other English-speaking families for casual get-togethers. As multicultural families, we probably share similar experiences and can relate to each other - let's swap parenting tips, share different cultural perspectives, and let our little ones get to know each other too!
What we're planning: A relaxed picnic to get to know each other, with potential for future hangouts like dinners, playground dates, or just walks around the city.

☀️ Plan A (Good weather): We'll find a nice spot together for an outdoor picnic
🌧️ Plan B (Rainy weather): Move to Jeff's Cheesecake in Stadtpark for coffee and chat
What to bring: Just yourself, or come with your partner, or bring the whole family - everyone's welcome!
Blankets and snacks to share are welcome but optional.
