Hi there,
This is Poonam, a CS by profession, living and working in Bombay. I am an avid traveler, been to 16 countries till date of Asia, Europe and UK.
I recently went to the United Kingdom in December to celebrate Christmas and bring in New year with a friend which included Scotland, Leeds, York, Liverpool, New castle upon Tyne, Manchester, London and Bath. It was a fantastic 2-week trip exploring ancient monuments, medieval towns, castles, cathedrals, Christmas markets, museums, partying, watching dazzling display of colour and sound at London Eye New year fireworks show and much more. Last summer, I went to the beautiful countries of Italy, Netherlands and Belgium for 2 weeks with another friend which was a very exciting and memorable trip.
This time I am intending to travel to Europe again in the month of July & since the travel period, leaves from office, etc. is not working out with the existing set of friends, so I am looking out for like-minded people as travel companion/s for exploring Europe together. Further, I am not wanting to join a group tour since I have experienced in the past that the itinerary/destination do get compromised a lot in a group tour. I believe that planning a trip on your own gives a lot of independence on customization & designing the itinerary, period of travel, place of stay etc.
This can be a 2-week trip covering any 2 or 3 countries of Europe including any music or other event/festival also like Tomorrowland in Belgium.
I would really want to meet someone/some people who is/are keen for a 2 weeks vacay in Europe this July and is/are looking for the experience of travelling in a small group. I believe travelling in a group is better than traveling solo since it is a more immersive and authentic experience providing the chance of exploring some hidden gems at destinations together and build memories for oneself hence making the overall experience more fun and memorable.
