Welcome to the Mumbai - Make New Friends Group on Meetup.com! This group is for anyone looking to connect with new people in the real world, understand them and make lasting friendships. Come, join us for meetups and events that feature people with diverse backgrounds and get ready to expand your social circle in the bustling city of Mumbai.
We meet at public places e.g. coffee shops / parks (keeping in mind the weather).
Events are free. However, should you choose to order any food / beverage at the venue, you pay for the same.
Whether you are new in Mumbai or are a born Mumbaikar, whether you are an engineer or doctor (or neither!), weather you are an extrovert or shy, weather you are a cricket fan or a movie buff, weather you have already have many friends or have none at all, weather you are a student or a professional, you can join us and make new friends in a fun environment.

Some ground rules to create a healthy environment for you:
1. This event aims to provide a place for interacting with people and making new friends. This is not a dating event.
2. Have respect for all.
3. No overt selling/marketing.
4. Everyone is expected to introduce themselves to others.
5. This group is for people with 18 or more years of age only.
6. No attendee can do audio/video recording during the meeting. However a group photo/video can be taken for those willing to pose.
7. No smoking. No drinking.
8. There is no specific dress code.
9. No disrespectful behaviour, no bullying, no pushing a different agenda.
10. There are no fees for the meeting but you pay for what you order.
11. The aim of this group is to provide a mutually beneficial and a healthy environment. All members are expected to adhere to this aim.
