LITMUS FESTIVAL is back after its debut in 2014, this time moving to the heart of Mumbai. It will be held on the 8th and 9th of April at Todi Mills, Lower Parel Register now for LITMUS FESTIVAL ‘16: LITMUS is an experimental word-fest that explores the word at the cross-hair of technology & tradition. The event has a combination of panel discussions, workshops and performances which celebrate the ‘word’ in all its variations; be it in the form of dance, film or typography. LITMUS is curated by For Young India (FYI). After organizing the festival highly successfully the last two years in Bengaluru, FYI deemed it’s time for it to take place in Mumbai. LITMUS will be held across various venues in Todi Mills such as blueFROG, Café Zoe, The Barking Deer, Todi Mills Social and True School of Music. There will be panel discussions held by various literary guests from all realms of the creative industry. The likes of Hanif Kureshi from St+Art Foundation, photographers Bharat Ramamrutham and Prashant Panjiar, co-founder of Terribly Tiny Tales Anuj Gosalia, Tinkle Comics illustrator Abhijeet Kini, co-founder of the BIND collective Philippe Calia, experimental theatre groups Accelerated Intimacy and Visual Respiration to name a few will be present.
The inaugural performance on the 8th of April will be held at blueFROG by Neeraj Arya’s Kabir Café, a fusion band who celebrates the words of the great 15th century poet Kabir Das
