  1. Title : Kubernetes deployments the GitOps way

In this session we will first discuss the more traditional application deployment pipelines to a Kubernetes Cluster. We see what GitOps is, look at one of the GitOps ways of doing deployments to a Kubernetes cluster using Weave Flux, then discuss the considerations when using this approach and the benefits.

  2. Bio: Maninderjit Bindra (Mani) is a Senior Software Engineer with the CSE team at Microsoft. He is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator and in his current role he helps partners, customers and developers in building scalable and resilient solutions on the Microsoft cloud platform. He has over 18 years of industry experience and has designed and implemented several high volume, business critical applications and APIs.
