Trek to One tree hill point, Matheran

Matheran is a beautiful place to trek and not far away from Mumbai. There are several view points located at walkable distance such as Alexander point, Rambaug point, One tree hill point, etc. The overall trekking distance is expected to be 15 kms and can be completed in a day. Travel plan:
Neral, which is the closest railway station to Matheran is connected by train from Mumbai CST and Dadar - 11007 Deccan Express leaving at 07:00 from CST and 07:13 from Dadar. We will plan to take this train to reach Neral. From Neral, we can take local transport to reach Dasturi Naka which is about 9 kms.

Trek points:
We will trek from Dasturi Naka and back to Dasturi Naka which is around 15 kms and visit the following points on the way: Khandala point, Alexander point, Rambaug point, etc. Depending on the speed of the group, we can add more view points if possible. We will reach to sunset point in the evening before returning to Dasturi Naka. From Dasturi Naka, we will find our way back to Mumbai by road. Cost:
All cost of this trip (travel and personal expenses) to be borne by individuals. The expected cost is about INR 300-500. Please bring sufficient water and food for this trek. Also bear in mind this is monsoon season, so please be prepared for wet weather.
