About the Workshop

The basic Spray Paint Art Workshop covers the fundamental techniques and approaches that will help learners enter the artistic and colorful spray paint world. It will introduce them to the correct method of handling spray cans – explore multiple uses of the medium, understand all the surfaces on which the medium works and finally empower them with knowledge of creating ART on paper with spray cans (without the use of a brush). They learn to create textures, form, understand perspective, thus weaving a story using their imagination as they explore realistic and non-realistic styles of the Mexican Art called “Aerosolgrafia”.

The Basic Workshop also covers a brief history of the art and introduces participants to the overall scope of the medium, by giving them a brief understanding of Style Graffiti / Street Art & 3-D Art. So the power packed session, in more ways than one, beckons participants to explore their creativity.

Under close guidance, learners will undergo hands on experience within the classroom and complete one painting to help them firm up skills they acquire during the session.

The Basic Spray Paint Art Workshop is open to all: no background in art is necessary.
